Shelby has become one of my daughter's best friends. This picture of Shelby was given to Shelby by one of her dance competition teammates. Shelby is now in 6th grade, has many friends, and, aside from dancing and acro, she has run a 5k! Shelby, you are Amazing!

This picture of Shelby and Sami show just what silly girls they are. We are so happy they have become such great friends!
Remember Scotty, from New York? He was the intense 4yr. old baseball player, sporting one arm. Scott is now 12 years old, and still plays baseball year round. He plays pitcher and 1st base. When he was 2 1/2, he was in a tractor accident that resulted in the loss of most of his right arm. However, that did not stop him from being happy, confident, and independent. He loves to play football, wrestling and, of course, baseball. He has adapted very successfully to his everyday life. He was chosen to be a part of the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team kids camp (the “greatest week of his life”), was interviewed by the world’s greatest sports writer, Frank Deford for HBO Sports, and has become a motivational speaker. Scotty wrote a book with his mother called Scotty’s Way, which is an inspirational story about finding his way through everyday life.
